"THE SECRET OF NINE" is available now!. The following is an excerpt from the manuscript. It's a bit lengthy but it leads up to some pretty amazing numerological synchronicities involving the traditional Jewish "Tree Of Life" and the "golden mean spiral".
EXCERPT:
I started thinking. Nine. Change. Transition. I got a note pad and a pen and wrote a column of numbers, 1 through 9. The first thing I noted was that 9 was the end of the series. After 9 comes 10, but 10 is essentially 1 because the 1 plus the 0 equals 1. The next number is 11 which, in the same way reduces to 2 when the 1 is added to the 1. Twelve, then, reduces to three, 13 reduces to 4, and so on. I decided to write a column of numbers from 1 to 100. Starting with the 1, I circled every ninth number in the series. The circled numbers turned out to be 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, and 99. Each of these numbers, reduced to their single digit equaled 9. The number which immediately followed any one of these numbers reduced to 1, when distilled to its single digit form. For example, the number following 18 is 19. Distilled, 19 equals 1 because 1 plus 9 is 10 and, then, the 1 plus the 0 is 1. The same with the number which follows 27. The same with the number which follows 36, and so on down the line. The number 9, then, could indeed be interpreted as a symbol of change, a sign of transition. Whatever follows nine becomes 1 again.
As I sat there somewhat amazed at this new found revelation it occurred to me that, yes, it might be symbolic of change and transition but I had already seen that it was tied to other things as well. I thought back to my discovery that YHVH, the Hebrew four-letter name for God, also equaled 9 and that the seventh word on the Grek-5 list was God-9. I began to wonder how deep this actually went. I remembered that the ninth word on the list was LOVE. Quickly, I figured the numerological equivalent of the word "love". I was amazed, yet somehow not really surprised, to find the answer was 9. How neatly it all fit together. YHVH equals 9. "Love", the ninth word on the list, equals 9. God is Love, so says ancient wisdom, and so was verified by the Grek-5 beings with their alpha/numerical formula of God-9. Then I recalled something that just seemed to put the icing on the cake. Years ago I had seen a relatively obscure book called the Language Crystal. I remembered it as being a very strange book in which the author had discovered what he believed was some kind of a numerological code embedded within the English language and the key number was 18. Through painstaking research he was able to find that number encoded within literally hundreds of world, national, and historical events. The one thing I recalled vividly was his discovery of that number embedded within a word which now struck me as incredibly relevant. The word was "enlightenment". He highlighted the hidden word "eighteen" by using capital letters: E-nl-IGHTE-nm-EN-t. It was only now, at this particularly enlightening moment, that I realized the distilled value of 18 is 9. I guess it shouldn't have come as any surprise that one could find God embedded in enlightenment. It was all very clever, I thought, but what was the bottom line here? How did it tie together? How could God and Change be related? After all, hadn't we always been taught that God was unchanging, the same then as now and forever more, amen? Maybe, I thought, the word "change" wasn't quite the right word. The connotation was wrong. "Transition" was more like it. In the endless series of numbers, 9 is always the transitional number, the point where one segment ends and the next begins. EnlIGHTEnmENt isn't a thing , it's a process, a never ending spiral. Everytime you reach the transition point of 9 along the journey, you start all over again, but at the next higher level. Now, presumably, the idea would be the eventual attainment of Perfection, of Oneness with God. But if the process is never-ending, then what's the point? The point is this. The process is never ending because God is never ending. The process is God. God is forever unfolding. God is transition. God is 9.
Okay, now here's where we finally get back to the Tree Of Life and the
synchronistic way in which our newly defined number 9 fits in. 
Notice in the Tree Of Life diagram there are two rectangular areas.
The upper area is identified at the corners by the numbers 2, 3, 4, and
5. The lower area is identified at the corners by the numbers 4, 5, 7,
and 8. You will see the area of the lower rectangle contains a sphere (technically
termed a sepheroth) identified by the number 6. Notice, however, that the
corresponding area within the upper rectangle is completely empty. This
empty space is known as The Abyss. Again, I have only a rudimentary understanding
of the Tree Of Life and its symbolic meanings but in general, suffice it
to say, The Abyss symbolizes the idea of a kind of cosmic, spiritual gap
which must be crossed if one is to complete the journey from the physical
earth bound body, (10) to the full enlightenment of god-consciousness (1).
This is known as "crossing 
The Abyss".
Now, apparently, according to tradition, the Tree Of Life operates on
several levels. On one level, it can be interpreted as symbolizing the
entire Universe and everything in it. On another (and conceptually lower)
level, symbolizing only our own earth bound existence. The scheme is constructed
in such a way that the different levels overlap in a particular fashion,
forming what is known as a "Jacob's Ladder". The positioning
for the overlap is as depicted here. Notice if the upper Tree is moved
over and positioned directly over the lower Tree (each Tree maintaining
its relative position to the other) the sepheroth number 9 moves precisely
into the center of the Abyss of the lower Tree (as shown here on the right.
See 9 circled in red.).
Did you catch the synchronicity of that slick little move in regard to what we discovered about the symbolism of the number 9? We suggested that the number 9 was symbolic of change, or more accurately, of transition. The transition here was the traditional crossing of The Abyss, activated by the merging of the two Trees thus bringing the sepheroth number 9 of the upper Tree directly into the Abyss of the lower Tree. This is a completely new idea, a completely new interpretation placed on this otherwise traditional merging of the Trees. Again I ask, is this just a coincidence? What are the odds? But wait... there's more!
Yes, as if all that wasn't enough, here's a couple more little puzzle pieces. It just so happens that the alphanumeric value of the phrase "THE ABYSS" is 99 (reduces to 9) ! Now, isn't that a coincidence? And here's something else. Symbolically, the crossing of The Abyss has to do with one's journey to perfection, one's reaching across to touch the finger of God, so to speak. In the Bible there are stories of people who make rather strange departures from this earth to be with God while still in their living physical bodies; such as in the case of Elijah (II Kings, Chapter 2). Specifically the means of transportation by which this transition takes place is said to be a whirlwind. Interestingly, the alphanumeric value of the phrase "THE WHIRLWIND" is 153 (reduces to 9)! The number 153 is also a key element in the story of the miraculous catch of fish in the New Testament book of John, Chapter 21. Oh, but why stop here? How about this one? The reduced value of "THE MYTH" is also 9. So what does that have to do with transition? Glad you asked.
Remember back to our discussion about Carl Jung and his concept of archetypes? We noted that certain archetypal symbols or symbolisms are found to be common throughout many of the myths of various cultures. Jung seems to be saying that throughout many generations, humans have lost contact with their connections to the "spiritual" by focusing more and more on outward-directed technology and less on inward-directed spirituality. Myth and mythological characters were the mechanism by which this inward-directed connectedness was achieved. The myths, he contends (if I'm understanding correctly) are the outward creations of, or manifestations of, what he called "archetypes" which exist as part and parcel of the human psyche. The important function of "THE MYTH", then, is it's ability to establish a connection (crossing The Abyss!) between the physical and the spiritual. Amazing, yes, but how about this next one?
The alphanumeric value of the phrase, "THE
GOLDEN MEAN SPIRAL" is 198 (reduces to 9). Take a look at the shape
of the number 9. Sort of resembles a spiral, doesn't it? Maybe that's
not just a coincidence. Remember back just a few pages, where I discussed
the idea that in the endless series of numbers, 9 is always the
point of transition. Whatever follows 
9 becomes 1
again, endlessly forward and backward. But in either direction, the 1
which follows the 9 is never the same 1 that you started
with. Each time you reach a 1 it's the beginning of another level
on the SPIRAL, either higher or lower
(conceptually) depending on which direction you're going; that is, forward
or backward along the spiral path (THE SPIRAL PATH=153). THE GOLDEN
MEAN SPIRAL is derived from the Golden Mean Rectangle. The Golden Mean
Rectangle is a geometric construct derived from what is known as the "phi
ratio". Without going into the complexities of the mathematics involved
here, suffice it to say the important point to be made for our present
discussion is that the phi ratio is a number (usually approximated as 1.6180339....)
which virtually has no beginning and no end. (For an excellent discussion

the construction of every natural thing in the universe, I suggest Bob
Frissell's book, Nothing In This Book Is True, But It's Exactly How Things
Are, Frog Ltd. Books, 1994)
I'm not making this stuff up, folks. I'm just laying out the puzzle pieces here, trying to fit them together to create the whole picture which will reveal The Secret Of Nine. Or will it?
